The Office of the Secretary of Defense OSD) / Department of Defense, Research and Engineering (DDR&E) assigned the U.S. Army as the Primary Sponsor of the GTARC/GTRI UARC. With the approval of the Army, EW&A is the Secondary Sponsor with specific responsibility for managing and coordinating efforts for Tasking Activities (USG Sponsors) and the execution of GTRI’s efforts under the EW&A GTRI UARC contract vehicle. EW&A has performed as the Contracting Officer’s Representative for management of similar GTRI contract vehicles for over twenty years, providing program management and coordination to solve significant national security challenges through this strategic partnership.
The GTRI Contract is a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract vehicle that supports issuance of orders for engineering efforts within the defined Core Competencies. The contract has an overall ceiling of $1.53B and a ten-year ordering period (July 2019 - July 2029) with a period of performance no later than July 2030.
